Our Lady of Guadalupe, Tepeyac de San Antonio
By OMIEditor on Apr 07 in Mission Stories, Missions News
A tribute to the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe to St. Juan Diego at Tepeyac Hill in Mexico City.
A place of prayer and devotion, the “Tepeyac de San Antonio” is located atop of the Lourdes Grotto of the Southwest at Oblate Missions in San Antonio, Texas, and it is open seven days a week.
Besides being a place of devotion to the Patroness of the Americas, the Tepeyac honors the work of Oblate missionaries among Latino communities in the U.S., Mexico, and beyond.
- The Lourdes Grotto & Guadalupe Tepeyac open 7 days a week 5am -10pm
- Admission is free. Prayer requests, Lourdes water and gifts are available

Our Lady of The Holy Rosary! Pray For Us!
Dear Dave, thank you for your prayer request. I have forwarded to Fr. Lajo. You can make further request here: http://www.oblatemissions.org/prayer-petitions/
Oblate missions & Tepeyac is such a beautiful place but of course wouldn’t be complete without you.
Blessed Mother Mary,
Please pray for us.
My husband and I will be traveling down to San Antonio from Chicago next month. We want to come to you as our first thing on our itinerary in San Antonio out of the airport.
You’ve always been there for me.
And I thank you for such blessing.
But once again, I beg you to hear my plea:
Please guide us and keep us safe in our Vacation travels as to return home safely.
Bless the people & creatures of our small planet,
& Bless you mother – in the name of our father, the sun and holy spirit
Amen

Dear Mother, I have never felt any connection with you – even when I grew up just 1 mile away from your basilica in Mexico City, I visited you perhas just 2 or 3 times while I was there but never felt anything. As I am older and perhaps wiser I want to establish that connection with you… Please pray for me that I may be able to feel you when you pray with me; so that I may be heard through you; so that my soul in pain may be healed; so that I can forgive myself and forgive others; so that my heart can be honestly yours and my love for Jesus Christ may never end.
