The Value of Your Gifts
Through out the year we have several appeals for our donors to consider. Make a difference today, any amount counts to those in need.
$25 – Help with tuition & school supplies in our missions:
The Oblates help several families with their children;s education. In missions like La Morita in Tijuana, Mexico schools charge just $10 tuition for elementary students. Still, most families can not afford to send their children to these schools because their monthly family income is just $80.
$50 – Builds shelters for those in need:
In poor regions in our Zambia or La Morita Mission in Mexico a few dollars can buy construction materials to build humble shelters.
$100 – Provides mosquito nets, bicycles, books, blankets in our missions:
Blankets are a continual need for the elderly and children in our Zambia Missions and other missions like La Morita in Mexico, Haiti and more. So are mosquito nets, medical care, bicycles, books and more. Bibles are one of the items most requested by our missionaries and the cost per dozen is only $100 USD.
$250 – Buys Vehicle Tires:
A valuable gift for our missionaries, who replace tires frequently due to the condition of roads where they serve.
$500 – Provides medical care and supplies:
Our Lady’s Hospice in Lusaka, Zambia provides medical care for hundreds of patients. In La Morita, Oblate medical services help women, children and the elderly. A $500 donation would help cover such care and medical needs.
