Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is the joyous celebration of life and death that spans October 31 to November 2. This rich holiday tradition consists of parties, parades, colorful decorations and costumes, great food and an abundance of sweets.
Today is a wonderful opportunity to gather with close friends and family to celebrate and honor our dearly departed. Be sure to set aside time to speak about the many good times you shared with your loved ones who have gone to eternal rest with Our Lord.
Send me the names of any beloved departed friends or family members so we may pray for them during our All Souls Novena beginning November 2.
