Dear Friend in Christ,
Our Missionary Oblates are models of great faith – and great courage.
Spending their lives bringing the love and hope of Jesus Christ to the poorest of the poor, our Oblate priests and brothers often find themselves in physical danger. This was the case for our Oblates serving in Haiti when a devastating earthquake struck in August 2021.
To honor these exceptionally brave Oblate priests and brothers, we would like to share their stories with you.
This month we are proud to honor Fr. Albert Cator, OMI –– a man of faith who was miraculously rescued from the Oblates Seminary of Mazenod in Les Cayes after the entire three-story house collapsed on top of him.
Missionary Oblates like Fr. Cator — and all our brothers serving in Haiti — are depending on the generosity of friends like you to help rebuild the damaged ministry buildings in Les Cayes as they continue to minister to those hit hardest by the disaster. To ensure that this crucial work continues, please give below.
God bless you!
