Jesus Sacrificed His Life to Give Us Hope

Dear Friend in Christ,

As we approach Easter, we prepare our hearts for the resurrection of Our Lord. Lent is a time of forgiveness, healing and penance and a time to draw nearer to Our Lord.

When preparing for Easter, the image of Jesus bearing the cross on his way to His crucifixion is immediately brought to mind. His suffering for us is so powerful and encompasses the true meaning of this holy celebration.

I thought that this statuette of Our Lord would fill your home with His love and mercy throughout the year.

I have also arranged for your intentions to be remembered during three Masses each Friday during Lent:

  • Two Masses will be celebrated at our spiritual center, Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto and Tepeyac de San Antonio each Friday during Lent.
  • A third Mass will also lift up your special needs at the Church of Christ, Our Savior and Lord in Mexico City each Friday.

Perhaps one of the best Lenten sacrifices is to reach out to those less fortunate.  That is exactly the impact you make when you continue your support for countless poor mission children and their families.

May Lent be a source of blessings for you, filling your life with love and peace.

In Christ and Mary Immaculate,
Father Art Flores, OMI
Oblate Director

P.S. As soon as I receive your intentions and support to assist the Missionary Oblates and the mission poor, I will forward the blessed figurine of Jesus bearing the cross as a reminder of Our Lord’s abounding love for all of us. Many thanks for your generosity for our missionaries and the mission poor!
