Join Us in Praying the Hope Rosary

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

This past year has been challenging for so many of us — some who lost their jobs are now struggling to feed their families, others have spent months isolated from friends and loved ones, and still others suffering from the deaths of family and friends to the deadly virus.

But in the midst of all this despair and struggle, our dedicated Mazenodian-Oblate Family of donors have continued to consistently deliver what many need right now — hope.

Your support has helped our Missionary Oblates bring lifesaving aid and the loving, healing Word of Jesus Christ to the poorest of the poor every day, despite the ongoing difficulties presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your strong faith and commitment!

Since you made your first gift to support our Missionary Oblates, you have been a beloved member of our Mazenodian-Oblate Family.

Today, your continued support for our worldwide efforts is needed even more as the global health crisis has left so many in our missions in need of additional aid and spiritual guidance. Your gift today can provide the resources needed to deliver help and hope to the poorest and most abandoned of the world.

To demonstrate our gratitude for your gift of $25 or more — I have a unique gift for you designed especially for our supporters.

  • Our Hope Rosary features beautiful yellow decade beads, the color of hope and positivity, and green Our Father beads, the color of growth and harmony.
  • The connector is the Miraculous Medal, an image given to us by the Virgin Mary that symbolizes her hope and love, granting her graces and protection to all who possess it.

Thank you for your continued commitment to our mission. I hope that when you pray this rosary, you will find inner peace to soothe any worries you may have.

After a year of a pandemic, we are all in need of hope. With the COVID-19 vaccine becoming more readily available to all, the hope of returning to normalcy can be felt around the country. As followers of Christ, we search for hope through Him, knowing He stays with us, even in the darkest times.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
– Romans 15:13

To assist in your prayers, I have arranged for your petitions to be offered for the intercession of Our Blessed Mother during a novena honoring her Assumption. Starting on August 15 and continuing for nine consecutive days, your needs for prayer will be lifted to Heaven at our spiritual center, Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto and Tepeyac de San Antonio.

Gifts from dedicated supporters like you ensure that our Missionary Oblates can supplement the needs of our missions further the studies of our Seminarians, and care for our elder Oblates. Your gifts also bring hope to the mission poor along with the love of Jesus. Your support has helped so many through this pandemic.

You can submit your prayer for this novena above and download our printable prayer card.  You can also make your gift to support to work immediately to aid the poor.

May God bless you and your family, knowing that you are in my daily prayers and those of thousands of Missionary Oblates around the world.

In Jesus Christ and Mary Immaculate,
Fr. David P. Uribe, OMI
